
Dr. Olivera H. Jovic
Dr. Jovic received her Master of Science in Biomedical Science and later completed her medical education at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL. While pursuing her medical degree, she received the Outstanding Civic Service Award and the Podiatric Academic Merit Scholarship.
She completed a three-year Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Miami Beach in 2012 where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Jovic’s residency training encompassed all aspects of foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, advanced techniques in wound care, as well as elective and reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries. During this time, she also participated in the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project mission trip in Merida, Mexico.
Dr. Jovic continued in private practice on campus at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL for seven years, where she participated as a faculty member for the foot and ankle surgical residency program. Dr. Jovic is now practicing on campus at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO.
She offers an innovative approach in all aspects of lower extremity medicine including conservative treatments, regenerative cell-based therapies as well as surgical intervention of foot and ankle injuries in patients of all ages. Dr. Jovic’s calm and collected charisma allows her to connect with each patient on an individual level.
