Dr. Amber Kavanagh

Dr. Amber Kavanagh is originally from Long Island, New York. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City before completing a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at MedStar Health Podiatric Surgery Residency Program in Washington, DC. Her residency training focused on all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, including trauma, elective reconstruction, sports medicine, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Kavanagh continued her training with a fellowship focusing on sports medicine, trauma, and minimally invasive procedures at Hinsdale Orthopaedics, a division of the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in Chicago.

Dr. Kavanagh is a board-qualified podiatric surgeon with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Due to her extensive training, she is able to offer a comprehensive array of foot and ankle services from bunion correction to ankle fractures. She strives to provide compassionate care by getting to know her patients, listening to their concerns, and engaging them in their treatment choices.

Dr. Kavanagh loves the outdoors and everything Colorado has to offer. In her free time she enjoys hiking, weight lifting, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
